The Church of the Holy (Twelve) Apostles stands on Avukat Caddesi in Feriköy, in the district of Şişli, and was built in 1868. Koçu’s İstanbul Ansiklopedisi describes it as a masonry church with a tiled roof and a central dome resting on four arches, with an iron bell tower in the courtyard.
In 2018 the Feriköy community marked 150 years since its foundation. On 6 November 2018 the fully renovated church was reopened with a service led by the Ecumenical Patriarch.
