The Church of the Taxiarchs is the largest church in Arnavutköy (Mega Revma). According to the community, it was renovated in 1677 and repaired again after fires in 1796 and 1799. The earthquakes of 1894 destroyed it, and the present building was constructed between 1896 and 1899. The courtyard contains the chapel of the holy spring of St Paraskevi.
